Pole House, Boronia Victoria Australia

Client was a young family establishing their first home. Brief was to create a modestly budgeted but striking home in a fire-prone, heavily wooded zone of Boronia. Site was very steeply sloping. All materials were lightweight to minimize impact upon the substrata and many were alternative.

The house was carefully sited to capture commanding views of cosmopolitan.  Melbourne. Clients were mesmerized by the quality of style possible from a meager purse.

Grampians Getaway

Proposed 22  Unit Pyramid-tent styled Holiday Village near Halls Gap in Victoria's popular Grampians National Park.

The client, a courier driver & his wife, approached us with the proposition of building a log-cabin farm house on a huge site in this magnificent area. This was a new lifestyle decision. We surprised them by suggesting a novel alternative. Build a tourist precinct in stages, then occupy a unit as managers of the other private units. This way others could share their wonderful life altering experience, as well as create a great new business venture.

This became our first inroad into 3D Design/Presentation.

Springvale 4 Unit Development, Victoria Australia

This client a builder, engaged us to create just 2 units on a residential site in a lower class Melbourne suburb. He cried "impossible" when we proposed he adjust his plans to accommodate not 2 but 4 design oriented town houses on the same site, with no loss of amenitiy. This amplified his profit 400% without sacrificing neighbourhood character or style.

The application passed through town planning without a single serious objection, and without the engagement of outside town planners. We believe our high technology 3D Design/Presentation made a significant impact.

Budget concious DVD producer demolishing his existing home and rebuilding on same site..Brief was to create a modestly budgeted but striking home to be reminscent of his job activities. We designed the house so  it seemed to metaphorically spin like a DVD in action.

Costs were reduced by selecting materials and construction techniques to be lightweight and efficient in use. Results were anything but mainstream.
